Flat Roof Insulation

Energy Specifics is one of a select few companies that are able to offer Flat Roof Insulation under ECO3 funding.

Given the costs involved, we may not be able to fully fund an installation, but we will do our very best to provide the maximum funding that we are able to depending on meeting the qualifying benefit requirements.

We only use a state-of-the-art accredited system and the results can transform both the look and feel of your house.

Installation time varies but doesn’t require internal works to your house, so there is little disruption.

Flat roofs can be troublesome and prone to standing water, leaks, rot and heat loss. With no accessible loft space, traditional roof insulation is not viable. There are two types of flat roof insulation:

Warm flat roof insulation- the material is placed on the top of the roof.

Cold flat roof insulation- material is placed in between the joists underneath the roof surface.

The method we use is warm flat roof insulation. A waterproof membrane is fitted first, followed by a 100mm or more of rigid board insulation. To finish off, a layer of asphalt is then applied. The installation is effective, non-invasive and will save on heating costs.
